Hi, I’m Julia, nice to meet you!
I have been stepping on the mat for over a decade and every day I am fascinated with deep wisdom and rich experience that mindful yoga practice brings.
We can practice yoga for physical benefits only. Thanks to yoga, we straighten the spine, open the chest and strengthen the legs. By practicing we get this strong, open, stable posture; for me it symbolizes what happens to us on a deeper level when we practice yoga regularly. Yoga teaches us mental and physical resilience. It gives us space to observe the reality and take life lessons in a less painful way. It provide us with new tools to listen to and truly hear our body, not only the mind. It shows us a way to intuition, love and leads us to inner silence: a natural space in us where we can be without sadness, fear, anger, grief and shame.
I started my practice with hatha yoga. Later I focused on dynamic forms for many years. I am currently returning to classical yoga, in my own practice and in teaching.
Currently, yoga is getting more and more recognition in medical professions as an effective support for various therapeutic processes. The system, which has survived over 5,000 years, is appreciated by an increasing number of specialists and this is great news. My goal is to work both with people who need deep regeneration through restorative yoga sessions, and with those who are ready for classic practice.
I keep studying and learning through personal mentoring with my teachers, and I finished the following trainings:
-
Yoga Alliance RYT200, Vinyasa Yoga
-
Restorative yoga and yoga therapy, 100 h with Valeria Petrich (The Yoga Studio College of Canada)
-
Pranayama Level I with dr Nina Budziszewska
-
Breathing Trainer Certified Course, PNEO Poznań
-
Somatic Experiencing® Intro (working with trauma through the body)
-
NEUROjoga (neuro yoga training) with Agnieszka Sobisz
